Antigo man sentenced to prison after not returning rental car | Daily Citizen

JUNEAU – A 50-12 months-outdated Antigo guy was sentenced to five several years in jail for stealing a 2018 Ford Festiva he had formerly rented when he lived in Juneau.

Gregg Mitchell was found responsible of the felony count of theft on Feb. 28. Mitchell appeared before Dodge County Circuit Court docket Choose Kristine Snow on Wednesday for his sentencing. Snow also positioned Mitchell on prolonged supervision for three years.

In accordance to the felony complaint:

Enterprise Lease-A-Automobile, W9666 Beaver Land Parkway, claimed on July 12, 2019, that Mitchell had rented a vehicle on June 20 and had not returned it. The 2018 silver Ford Fiesta was intended to be a 1-day rental.

Legislation enforcement was able to get in contact with Mitchell who reported that he had returned the car in Madison, but he could not don’t forget the actual day. The rental organization did not have any document of it being returned at one more locale. The automobile was afterwards found on the road close to Mitchell’s making.
