When I decided to jump into the next level of subwoofers and move to Rockford Fosgate’s power series, I was very excited. I had heard the subs before, and that’s what made the decision of buying on of them for me. I knew a couple of differences between the subs, but the information needed to be researched a bit more for me to spend a couple hundred dollars.
The T1 fosgate was a bit cheaper than the T2, but almost the same woofer without some of the larger power capabilities. When first look at the difference in the subs, it is tough to see the difference. The only way I knew they were a bit heavier was because when I looked at the T2 specs I noticed that the shipping weight was a bit more and more expensive to ship.
The T2 Fosgate of the power series was Rockford Fosgate’s largest subwoofer. This is pretty much the god of all gods here in my mind. Rockford Fosgate is a crazy brand in the car audio world to begin with, but for them to have their biggest and baddest subwoofer involved was crazy. These subs are crazy heavy and will blow your mind and car apart.
To be honest, I went with the T1 Fosgate fifteen inch subwoofer and a hifonics amplifier that puts out the numbers that the t1 craved. The sub has been blowing apart my mind and car components. This thing moves around my trunk like a piece of butter. Every time I turn on my car system, I am nothing but entirely happy. Five stars from this fan here.
