Most car enthusiasts have likely seen the movie Ford v Ferrari by now, and if they haven’t it’s time to sit down for a movie night. The late American automotive icon Carroll Shelby is played by Matt Damon, and British driver Ken Miles is played by Christian Bale. Set in the ’60s, the two are sent by Henry Ford II and Lee Iacocca to build the GT40 in hopes to take down Ferrari during the 24 Hours of Le Mans race in France back in 1966. This is the first movie revolving around Motorsports to take home an Academy Award since the mid-’70s. Finished in Indigo Blue and topped with Wimbledon White LeMans stripes, this beautiful, powerful roadster is ready to demand all attention. A set of original-style 15-inch Halibrand Wheels and 3-ear knock-off spinners come wrapped with BF Goodrich Radial rubber. Chrome trim can be found surrounding the headlights, quick jacks, turn signals, roll bar, and brass windscreen frame. Inside, period correct Smiths gauges and a Lucas Amp gauge can be found.

Completed by the Cobra Performance team and owner Drew Serb, there’s no denying that this Cobra was shown meticulous attention to detail and is of superior quality and authenticity. Under the hood is a Roush 427-cubic-inch SR mated to a Tremec TKO-600 transmission that was donated by renowned Cobra restorer David Wagner of Classic Motorsports. Mechanical highlights include a “Road Race” front sump oil pan, 660 CFM carburetor, a dual plane intake manifold, Roush aluminum heads, and a hydraulic roller cam. A 17-gallon stainless steel fuel tank keeps the engine quenched, and a high-performance aluminum radiator with twin electric fans keeps temperatures in check. Power is sent down to the rear wheels through an aluminum limited-slip differential. Stopping is provided by Wilwood power disc 4-piston brakes. The silver ceramic-coated side pipes will announce your presence from a mile away. With everything combined, this stunning Cobra makes 510-horsepower. Even better, the car comes with a 2 year/24,000 mile limited warranty.
